Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-05-09
Heads up: this is a starting-point policy written by a non-lawyer. If you're in the
EU, UK, or California, get a real legal review before relying on it.
What we collect
- Privacy-respecting analytics — page URL, anonymized referrer, country (from IP, not stored), browser/device aggregate. No cookies, no per-user identifiers.
- Newsletter subscriptions — email address (only if you submit it). Stored with our newsletter provider (Beehiiv). You can unsubscribe via any email or by emailing us.
- Affiliate click tracking — when you click an affiliate link, the partner may set their own cookies. We track aggregate click counts but not who clicked.
- Server logs — Cloudflare's standard request logs (IP, request, status). Not cross-referenced with any other data.
What we don't collect
- Cross-site tracking cookies.
- Per-visitor identifiers stored beyond a single page load.
- Form data we don't ask you to submit.
Third parties
The site uses Cloudflare for hosting and CDN, Beehiiv for newsletters, and Google AdSense (if enabled). Each has its own privacy policy. Affiliate partners may set cookies if you click their links. We do not sell or share your data.
Your rights
Email [email protected] to request deletion or export of any data we hold about you (which is mostly just your newsletter subscription). We respond within 30 days.
Changes
We update this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at top reflects the latest revision.
