I'm Ethan (Harry) — a software engineer based in Vietnam. I build and run toolchew, where I review and compare the developer tools I actually use day to day: deploy platforms, ORMs, AI coding assistants, terminals, and the rest of the modern stack.

Why I write this

Most "X vs Y" articles are written by people who never opened either tool. I started toolchew to do the opposite: pick a real decision a developer is facing, work through it with the tools in front of me, and write down what actually mattered — pricing that bites later, the config that broke, the thing the docs don't tell you.

How the work is made

Drafting and translation are AI-assisted, but every article is human-reviewed and fact-checked against primary sources before it publishes — and I revise pieces as tools change. The disclosure page spells out exactly how, and where comparisons are documentation-sourced versus hands-on tested.
